My First Design!

I am really excited to have my first ever design being sold in stores! I worked on this cool two-in-one concept about six months ago at my job. The front pocket of the backpack is actually a removable crossbody, so girls can wear the backpack to school then use the crossbody after school! The design got bought by Tillys and, at last, my design is in stores! It was so cool to walk into a big name store and see my backpack up on the wall, for sale!

I attended the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and graduated in 2013 with a B.F.A in fashion design. I didnt think I would end up in accessories, but I needed a job and found one at a handbag company. I have really enjoyed my job so far and I have learned so much. But I think back to those days in college, slaving away over projects in the fashion building and dreaming about my future. I am so happy to have hit this milestone already and cant wait for what comes next!
