Wow, I cant believe it has been two months since my last post! Hopefully you have kept up with my more recent activities over on Instagram. Here is the full story though, its been a busy bunch of weeks!
1. I got a new job! Yay! I am officially employed as an associate designer at Johnny Was. If you havent checked out this vintage-boho-eclectic line, you are missing out! With a sweet employee discount, I am sure I will be posting more outfits featuring the line soon!
2. I went camping. Yeah this seems like a small deal, but it took me literally three weeks to plan. I wanted to get some sweet desert shots of me romping around in boho outfits out in Joshua Tree National Park, but 100 degrees of hot desert sun disagreed with that notion.
3. I joined a gym! And got a personal trainer. I am a SUPER novice when it comes to most things gym related, so this is a big step. I am focusing on toning up and just being more healthy since I usually end up on my butt for at least 9hrs a day at work :(
4. I am continuing to freelance. It is basically like working two jobs right now, a fulll time day job followed by 2-3 hrs of freelance work every night. It is helping me afford the gym membership, but sucking away my blogging time!
So there you have it. I am finally finding a balance in my life though and think I can finally commit some more time to blogging! I have had a bit of extra cash too, so I have been able to shop a bit. So rest assured I am here for the long term, ready to throw some more awesome petite style at you!

So I got this cute white top from Forever 21 last week. I have been trying to save up my $$$ to spend on nicer quality items, but sometimes you see a cute top at F21 that is just what you have been looking for. So it may not last forever, but it is making me feel cuter already!

The pleating in this top is really fun and makes it the perfect top to wear over a pencil skirt. The cropped top and high waist skirt combo is perfect for us petite gals trying to look a bit taller! (Note: I wore a nude colored bralette under this top even though in theory you could wear it braless. Just to avoid any oops moments at work)

Showing off my new shoes too! These are THE PERFECT work flats from Aldo! They have cushioned soles which are super comfy. The assymetrical cut style and metal bar at the back adds a fashionable flair that keeps them appropriate for a fashion office while keeping my feet comfy too!

Jumping for joy! So glad I found these flats (finally...seriously been looking for a good pair of work flats for monthhhsss)
Thanks for reading and supporting me on Instagram! Looking forward to my next post soon :)
